K&C - Pregnancy Photos

I had quite a few friends last year that were all preggo around the same time. Meet K&C...What a cute couple :) We took their pictures near the Flagler Museum...Love the greenery and the HUGE tree...Baby Campbell was due in January 2010. Here's some of my favorites:

The Last 4 Days

I tried to blog every day for the month of November...It's only the 8th and I've already missed the last 4 days...

So, let's recap...

The 4th - Election Day! Either way you voted, I'm glad it's over...The phone calls, the tv commercials...all done. Thank goodness! Looking forward to the new, the change, etc. Hopefully Obama can get us out of this mess we're in and the economy can start making it's upward turn...

Wednesday, the 5th - After work, I had gastro checkup for my liver enzymes...Doc looked at my liver enzymes from my bloodwork in August...they were better but he said to not be surprised if they are elevated again at my next check...which will be in about 6 weeks...Then I went with Shel's mom to get decorations for the baby shower next Sunday...

Thursday, the 6th...A productive day - both at work and after...I scrapbooked - working on a recipe cookbook of all John's and my favorite recipes...and an ABC book about Us...

Friday, the 7th - took a vacation day (as I have to use them up before the end of the year or it's sorry, charlie...all gone)...John and I went to lunch - oh, how yummy it was! Then I scrapbooked...I finished all but the tabs on my recipe scrapbook...I also worked on the ABC album about John and I...decorated the scrapbook covers of that album, plus some other random things...It was a very productive and creative day!

Today, the 8th...John had today off - all day - love it! We just hung out around the house, relaxing, watching TV....then we went to dinner and then came home to watch the GATORS beat Vanderbilt 42-14! YEAH!!! It's great to be a Florida Gator!!!

Can't believe it's November and we're still having to watch the hurricane website...i.e. Paloma...

Not sure what is on tap tomorrow...probably stuff around the house - laundry, cleaning, etc...Maybe I can get in some more scrapbooking :)

Today...

Today...is the first time I have ever voted in a presidential election.
I have never really cared for politics, but I thought that it's about time, I participate.
One voice becomes many.
One vote can make a difference.
This is my future we're talking about and when I have children, it'll be about their future too.
I felt a sense of pride and patriotism as we voted today.
I'm glad I did.
I still don't care for politics, but I'm happy to have my voice and my vote be heard.
So, if you haven't done so already - get out there and vote!
There's no excuse not to.

His impersonations of George Burns, John McCain, George Bush, Charles Barkley, John Madden, Robin Williams - even Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy - were DEAD ON!
My face was wet with tears of laughter as we were laughing so hard!

Tonight

Tonight, we're going to see Frank Caliendo. We've seen his stand-up show on TV and he's hilarious with all of the impersonations he does. Looking forward to a date night with my hubbie tonight! More later! Happy Sunday all!

So, I'm going to try this blog thing again...November is National Blog Posting Month, so we'll give this a go...See what I can do during the month of November...Since I haven't posted in 6 months...

It was a great game!

Today was a great day...went to ES&S and Panera with miss Mandy. So great to see her! Then I went to Mom & Dad's and watched the game while Mom & I scrapbooked. Lovely lovely day!

And because no post is complete without a picture, here's one of the kitties. Logan was sleeping on the chair first....then Lucie decided that she wanted to join him...So cute! Love it!
