Silly Silly Cat

So, Logan - our 6 month old cat - loves to be near us...Here is his new place that he likes to take naps (particularly while I'm sitting at the desk trying to work) LOL. He's so darn cute!!! Love that little guy!!!

Almost 1 year...

Wow - Can't believe it's been almost a year since I last posted....

Time definitely flies...

A lot has happened in one year...


In April '06 - Went to St. Lucia - stayed in a Sandals resort - for our 4th anniversary - ABSOLUTE PARADISE! Met some great people there that we still keep in touch with! Hi Rebecca & Dave! Hi Kris & Em! Hi Helen & Andy!


In June '06 - Nan passed away...Miss her dearly but glad she isn't suffering anymore...Love you Nan!! You are in my heart everyday!!!

In September '06 - We took my parents to a Gator game - They hadn't been to a game since I graduated 6 years ago...So it was nice! Had a great weekend - and the Gators won!!!

Then came the holidays - Halloween (carving pumpkins, handing out candy, & dressing up the dogs in costumes w/ the neighbors), Turkey Day (I hosted) and Christmas (went to Michelle & Adam's for Christmas Eve and to Mom & Dad B's for Christmas day - my parents were on a cruise from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve)!!!! A lot of fun and great times!!! (I was in major organization mode earlier this year, so these pictures are already backed up on CDs and therefore, no longer on my laptop) :(

In December '06 - We had a cat show up on our doorstep on 12/13/06 - ended up adopting it - named him Clark - after Superman - as he has been thru a lot - blown pupil, abscess on it's nose, FIV (Feline version of HIV/AIDS), anemia, etc. - and after a week's worth of medicine, food and lots of love - he wasn't getting any better so we let him rest in peace. :(

However, having Clark showed us - that after a day or two of allergies - we were fine - and so we now have a new member in our family...Logan (named after Wolverine in X-Men)! We adopted him from a local vet at 3 months old and he's the best. He is both extremely playful and extremely love-y!!! Absolutely having a blast with him!

Then, January '07 was eventful!

Johnny turned 30:
I went to Plano, TX for work and after 3 cancelled flights, the airline lost my luggage - I was also in a car accident - but at least it was just me and the sidewall on a bridge - no one else was involved - the rental car was hurt worse than I was:
Next time that I have a single cancelled flight - I'm not going on whatever trip I was supposed to go on!!!!!

February '07 - My 28th birthday! Then 3 days later, I had all 4 wisdom teeth out - what fun! Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...Although, an infection appeared in the bottom right area - and it's being stubborn - as I've seen the oral surgeon about once/twice a week for the last 5 weeks - and numerous antibiotics, etc. Hopefully next Friday's visit will be the last one - FOREVER!!!!

So far in March - On St. Patrick's Day - Angie & Ryan got married:

And we just celebrated my mom's bday last night at Gotham - nice time!

Those are all the main events that I can think of off the top of my head. Otherwise, I've just been hanging out with the hubbie, family and friends, doing stuff around the house (like redecorating the bathroom downstairs, putting up closet organization pieces, painting, etc), a little scrapbooking here and there, and so on...

Hopefully it will not be another year before I update again...
